WELL folks, you may have noticed that Sunday was April Fools’ Day... did you spot our spoof tale?

It’s a tricky job spotting an April Fool in

as the stories in the world’s funniest paper are so astonishing, many people think they are ALL practical jokes!

But we have to put our hands up and admit our yarn about government plans to impose a TAX on pooing was a wind-up.

And it must have been a good one, because several international news outlets took our fake exclusive and reported it as FACT!

We had to smile when a leading ARGENTINE newspaper was taken in and ranted that the Pay As You Poo Tax was “evidence that the British Empire is doomed.”
