Freddie: I woke up ‘deadie’!
CRICKETER Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff woke up from a routine operation to find that friends and family thought he was DEAD!
Freddie was forced to deny the rumour after an Indian paper claimed that the sportsman had died in hospital.
Retired cricket star Freddie ( above), 34, was stunned to read reports that he had died on the operating table during minor knee surgery.
He said: “It got reported once in the Indian press that I’d died.
“I’d only gone in for some surgery on my knee, but something got lost in translation and I started getting texts and emails from people checking I was alive.”
But the English star has done little to quash the rumours of his demise – a Google search for ‘Freddie Flintoff dead’ generates a huge 1,780,000 results!
