As lovely as it would be to sit on your meditation cushion for a blissed-out period every day, life is just too busy sometimes. But a full life isn’t a bad thing – see it as a chance to be mindful in even routine moments. In essence, that’s what mindfulnes­s is, and meditation is the practice part. Mindful action in everyday moments can create real impact.

Without even being aware of it, we have mindful moments throughout the day – every time we recycle, for example, is mindfulnes­s in action. Where else are you already being mindful in your everyday tasks?
