Let it go!
Gandhi once said that only the strong can forgive. And a new study, published in the journal Clinical Psychology And Special Education, has found that people under chronic stress are more inclined to let an offence against them go than those with everyday worries. Russian researchers interviewed 140 people of different ages and life circumstances and found that those with severe life conditions experienced a positive post-trauma growth. This allowed them to be more authentically themselves and discover what values were important to them. As a result, they used forgiveness to disregard misfortunes and imperfections in life.
