Botley Road bridge

It is a complete myth that doubledecker buses can’t get under the Botley Road bridge by the station in Oxford (RAIL 964).

Buses from the Seacourt park-and-ride and the Swindon S6 are double-deckers and do it many times every hour.

It can be a bit scary being upstairs at the front, but I’ve never known one hit it yet.
