McLean and Lord take key TfL roles

Transport for London has made two new senior leadership appointments.

Rachel McLean, currently Chief Finance Officer for Crossrail and Finance Director for Operations, becomes TfL’s CFO on October 31. Incumbent Patrick Doig will remain statutory CFO, but will also now resume his role as TfL Group Finance Director.

Meanwhile, the appointment of Chief Operating Officer Andy Lord (to replace outgoing Commissioner Andy Byford on an interim basis from October 25) has created a vacancy for COO.

TfL Director of Network Management & Resilience Glynn Barton has been appointed on an interim basis, while an internal recruitment process begins.
