New JNA-X Box Wagons arrive in UK

The first 25 new JNA-X Box Wagons have arrived in the UK, and are now officially on lease with GB Railfreight. Built in Romania, the wagons arrived at Wembley on November 5-6, ahead of passing an acceptance and inspection process. The delivery is part of an agreement for 50 new box wagons announced in March between Porterbrook, GBRf and Greenbrier. The remaining 25 are expected to cross the English Channel before the end of the year. They have been designed to optimise the tare weight, volume capacity and payload with the shortest wagon length over buffers for the bulk material they will transport.
