Heritage modern traction supports more main line new stock moves

Services Limited hiring two of its Class 37s to GB Railfreight for various stock moves, D05 Preservation Ltd’s preserved 37688 Great Rocks was in action in December, hauling Class 701 units between Derby and Worksop, among other stock transfers carried out by the pair. LSL’S D6817 (37521) was also hired to GBRF for the duration of the work. Meanwhile, the Merseyrail stock moves are now being operated by SLC operations, using the Michael OWEN/CTLS main line-registered fleet of 20142, 20007, 20189 and 20205, with the pairs working top-and-tail on trains to and from Kirkdale depot as required.
