Riviera Royal Scot at Langstone Rock, Devon, on July 26, 2020

A classic British railway location captured from above, with the Royal Scot Locomotive and General Trust’s flagship locomotive 46100 Royal Scot sweeping around Langstone Rock, hauling Saphos Trains’ ‘The English Riviera Express’ on July 26, 2020.

Not only was I celebrating my 40th birthday that weekend in Devon, but unintentionally all of my close relatives are captured in this photo.

From the top of Langstone Rock far right, I can be seen operating the drone. My dad is located on lower Langstone Rock and the rest of my family are on Dawlish Warren beach behind Langstone Rock – not that they were too pleased to be sitting beneath the clouds.

A priceless image which was captured between hail showers that can still be seen soaking Exmouth.
