More Class 37s are stored by DRS

DIRECT RAIL Services has stored five of its Class 37s, with 37059/069 and 37402/407/423 all placed into store in February.

The loss of these five leaves just six of the locomotives in use with the Cumbrian operator, these being 37218 (which has been rumoured to be slated for imminent withdrawal) and 37401/419/422/424/425 active in the DRS fleet.
