Crosses the River Noe on May 16, 2018.

-

On long-term hire from Harry Needle Railroad Company, 20906 is now employed tripping wagons from Earles Sidings on the Hope Valley Line to the Lafarge Cement Works at Hope.

Again, the sight of a Class 20 working in the Derbyshire Hills is a fantastic sight, with the locomotive pictured crossing the River Noe and Edale Road bridge. This photograph was a bonus for me, as the day wasn’t originally planned to be a railway day; I went out to attend another event but it was cancelled at the last minute, so I decided to call in at Earles on my way back and was delighted to see the Class 20 in action, saving the day from being a complete waste of time.
