FEELING CUT OFF

- Craig Allen, Gloucester

Is Andrew Prescott for real? [Andrew argued in favour of cut-off times in last month's Big Debate.] I was expecting to run the London Marathon in about 4:30 this year but I got it a bit wrong on the day and finished in 5:27. I still felt very proud at the end, especially when I realised there were about 10,000 runners still behind me. That’s a lot of runners missing his 5:30 cut-off time. The marshals on the day were incredible and I didn't see anybody who was in a hurry to leave.
