Spot the master

We like to issue Fielders with a challenge and this month it was to name the instructor. The clue: “One of the most famous shooting men of

the modern era.” Many were quick to name Percy Stanbury. “Percy Stanbury without doubt, recognise that stance anywhere, weight on the

front foot,” declared one Fielder. Indeed, the picture came from Michael Yardley’s feature in the August issue on shooting styles, deliberating

between the Stanbury and Churchill schools.
