A crosser?
With reference to Nicky Samengo-turner’s letter [October issue], regarding advertisers’ misunderstanding of their target market, one of the great changes I have seen in shooting, I am now 73, is the number of women/ ladies/girls who have taken it up and the vast improvement in the clothes available to them.
However, when I look at some of the models used by the purveyors of ‘lifestyle shooting accoutrements’, I sometimes wonder if they are trying to appeal to the LGBT market.
Shooting is a broad church and I have always found it inclusive, though some of my less-enlightened colleagues may find this a step too far. Kevin Byrne
