Gavin’s gong is wrong

Sarah Vine was right to ask why the Government is giving a knighthood to former Education Secretary Gavin Williamson for doing things wrong. The public has previously complained about the awards ‘system’, so it is time to change it.

Congratulations to Gavin Williamson. He did a fantastic job keeping schools running during the pandemic and did the best that he could to support pupils and teachers under difficult circumstances.
