SUPER LEAGUE coaches will meet with disciplinary chiefs to discuss the latest crackdown on foul play following another flurry of yellow cards during Huddersfield’s 36-24 win over Castleford.
The opening month of the season has been dominated by dismissals and sin-binnings, and four players were shown yellow cards at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Castleford boss Lee Radford has demanded clarity and the matter will come to a head on Wednesday when coaches will meet with the RFL’s match review panel.
‘It’s the only topic on the agenda,’ Radford said. ‘We’re going from what was a slap on the wrist last year to four or five games.’
