Poetry by Iris Hesselden
Memories of holidays,
How precious now they seem, We need to hold and cherish them, Like some remembered dream.
Did you go walking on a beach? Or splashing in the sea?
Or did you take a Cornish trip
And sample their cream tea?
Perhaps you flew to distant lands Where life was quite unique, Or wandered through a silent wood To find the peace you seek. So treasure cards and photographs, Enjoy them as before,
And when the world is safe again Go travelling once more!
