Makek Your Own Beeswax Wrap

Ditch single-use cling film with a reusable beeswax wrap that can be made in minutes.

1. Gather your supplies. You will need a square of cotton, beeswax pellets, a silicone basting brush, an oven tray and tongs.

2. Preheat your oven to 85°C.

3. Lay the cotton flat on your oven tray. Sprinkle the fabric liberally with beeswax pellets.

4. Place in the oven for around 5 minutes, until the beeswax has melted.

5. Once the beeswax has melted remove the tray from the oven and use the brush to distribute the beeswax evenly. Beeswax sets rapidly, so do this quickly.

6. Next, use the tongs to remove the fabric and hang it up to dry. It takes minutes to set and then your wrap is ready for use.

7. To remove the beeswax from your oven tray and basting brush, wash them in hot soapy water.
