£7.5m Swansea station investment

SWANSEA station has received a £7.5m refurbishment which has included the lengthening of platform four to accommodate 10-car trains.

There are improved ticketbuying facilities, new toilets, and refurbished space for use by local businesses and community groups.

Also, there’s new signage and branding, additional seating, a new cycle shelter, new LED lighting, replacement platform end barriers, and the provision for staff to make PA announcements while around the station.
