Arun Valley line improvements get extra £5m

AN additional £5m towards improvements in stations, track and infrastructure as part of the Arun Valley improvement project has been announced by Network Rail along with a nine-day blockade. The existing project included nine sets of switches and crossings at Horsham as well as drainage work to reduce the risk of flooding. After weekend closures in July, the route will be closed between August 14-22.
