Tracks progress to Blackpool North

SITE work is underway on the final phase of extension of Blackpool’s tram network from Talbot Square to Blackpool North station.

Demolition of the former Wilkinson’s store last October has allowed work to progress on the £22m extension, which was originally due to open two years ago. It’s expected to be completed later this year.
