Track monitoring trial

DB ESG has announced a project with Network Rail to trial a continuous track monitoring system called CTM2.0. The equipment will be installed onto a Mk.3 driving van trailer, which will operate on Chiltern Railways passenger services between Birmingham and Marylebone. The trial will enable Network Rail to assess the suitability of the system in helping to reduce the number and impact of service-affecting failures.
