Goal for modal shift

DB Cargo has launched a new campaign to encourage modal shift from road to rail. By teaming up with some of Britain’s biggest businesses, it will lobby the Government to set a legally-binding target for switching transportation from road to rail. DBC’s chief executive officer Andrea Rossi said: “A legally-binding target will provide the confidence and certainty needed to unlock sustained investment.”
