LMS ‘Jubilee’ No. 45596 Bahamas approaches to Slittingmill Farm, Staveley on October 16, with its last main line tour of the season –
The Railway Touring Company’s ‘The Yorkshireman’ from Ealing Broadway to York. After a break for servicing, the 4-6-0 returned home to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (KWVR) with its support coach. The following day, Bahamas worked alongside the KWVR’s other resident main line steam loco – ‘Black Five’ No. 45212, recently returned from the opposite end of the UK, after working the Fort William – Mallaig ‘Jacobite’ services.
