LYNTON & BARNSTAPLE ENJOYS RECORD AUGUST

THE Lynton & Barnstaple Railway (L&BR) recorded its best ever performance for the month of August in 2021. Overall takings were up by over 60% with over 13,000 passengers carried, an increase of 26%. The record month was followed by L&BR’s September 25/26 Steam gala which featured a visit by War Office Locomotive Trust’s Hunslet 4-6-0T WDLR No. 303.
