Fylde Transport projects progress

WORK on Fylde Transport Trust’s Blackpool Twin Towing Car No. 671 has continued at a steady pace at St Helens Transport Museum. The paintwork has been rubbed down in preparation for its transformation from yellow and green ‘Metro’ colours into original cream livery, which should take place before the end of the year.

Lighting and other circuits on Railcoach 279 have been tested. New windscreens will be fitted once all the major electrical work in the cabs has been completed.
