NEW RAILS ON FLYOVER:
The first rails were delivered to the rebuilt Bletchley Flyover on November 18 (right), which is being transformed for its new role on the East West Rail route between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and eventually Cambridge (see also pages 38-43). Work began in April 2020 to dismantle the 1959built concrete structure over the West Coast Main Line ahead of rebuilding it again this year. The work also involves building new high level platforms to provide an interchange with the existing Bletchley station on the WCML.
