Worcester shed plans

-

A PLANNING application has been proposed to convert a Victorian railway shed in Worcester into 50 apartments. The application by Promanco proposes removing the roof of the building on Midland Road in Worcester, to build it up into a four-storey block.

The company has stated that the proposed scheme seeks to retain as much of the existing former goods yard building as possible and all of the office building.

The applicants described the plan as “an innovative design solution which addresses the need to provide good quality accommodation for future residents whilst recognising the site’s industrial architectural heritage”.
