PUG STEAMS AGAIN:
History was made at the East Lancashire Railway on Good Friday, April 15, when Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway (LYR) Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 moved under its own power for the first time in 52 years. The 1910-built loco ran up and down Buckley Wells yard, covering approximately two miles in the process. Work to complete the LYR Trust-owned loco includes finishing the installation of the vacuum brake system and final painting.
