TRAMLINES Further good news for Fylde fleet

FYLDE Transport Trust has received what it describes as a “significant donation” which will allow it to plan the installation of new rubber suspension blocks, a full seat retrim and a complete external repaint of Blackpool ‘Coronation’Tram No. 304, with the hope of recommissioning it this year.

The Trust’s English Electric Railcoach No. 279 returned to Rigby Road on March 17, where the remaining work to return it to service will be completed.
