Ahead of schedule

EDINBURGH Trams began running to a temporary terminus at St Andrew Square from March 28, after work on dismantling the York Place tram stop, which closed in February, was completed slightly ahead of schedule.

The stop was shut to allow work on track and infrastructure for the extension to Newhaven, which is due to open next year.
