‘Ukrainian’ livery and name for GBRf Class 66708
AS the war continues in Ukraine, GB Railfreight has unveiled a Class 66 in a livery adapted to show the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
Also displaying the nameplate Glory to Ukraine, conveying the words in both Ukrainian and English, No. 66708 was outshopped from Arlington Fleet Services at Eastleigh on April 6.
In a statement, the freight operator said: “GBRf stands with Ukraine and this newly painted locomotive honours the people affected by the conflict as they continue to courageously defend their homeland.”
