‘Career movers’ in apprenticeship intake
THE head of talent and development for HS2 says that significant interest in apprenticeships on the project has come from “career movers”.
Karen Davies added that this showed that retraining and developing new skills “is an attractive proposition for people of all ages”.
A total of 20 new apprentices were part of this year’s intake and will be based at various offices and sites. They include college leavers, university graduates and candidates who were already in employment which offered limited career progression.
