No. 75078 due to return to the roster following completion of its overhaul, the next steam loco to be returned to action at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway could be GWR 0-6-0PT No. 5775. The ‘57XX’ relocated from Oxenhope to the workshop in Haworth on October 3 for a detailed assessment, with a view to starting a major overhaul. No. 5775, which has latterly been on display in the Oxenhope exhibition shed, is well-known for its appearance in the 1970 EMI film The Railway Children.
