GUERNSEY’S ONLY PUBLIC RAILWAY:
Rarely visited by enthusiasts, the 7¼in gauge Sausmarez Manor Miniature Railway at St Martins, opened in 1985. The 350yd oval track has one station and runs through a jungle of tropical plants. Remus, a Bo-BoPH built by T. Leigh in 1989, has been the sole loco for many years, as seen on August 20. The railway is themed towards children and families with cuddly animals alongside the line.
