New home this year for ‘Alan Bradley’ tram

BLACKPOOL ‘Balloon’ car No. 710, the tram which millions of television viewers saw hitting and killing Coronation Street villain Alan Bradley in 1989, has a new home. Built in 1934 and originally one of the open-top Luxury Dreadnoughts, after withdrawal in 2007, it passed into Fleetwood Heritage

Leisure Trust ownership.

It is expected to move to the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft later this year.
