Gloss coat for Class 52

DIESEL & Electric Preservation Group’s (DEPG) Class 52 No. D1010 Western Campaigner, undergoing an extensive overhaul at Williton on the

West Somerset Railway, has received its first coat of gloss BR maroon. There is a lot more work to do, but this is to protect the newly restored bodywork from the elements should its place in the shed be required for maintenance or repair of another loco over the winter.
