“The increasing popularity of the LNER all-Pullman train which leaves King’s Cross each weekday at 11.20am for Harrogate, Newcastle and Edinburgh, has suggested that the train should be given an appropriate name, and the Pullman Car Company are naming it the ‘Queen of Scots’ “This most luxurious train running between London, Harrogate and the Scottish capital will, therefore, in future bear an historic title”.
