RECREATING THE PAST:
Hunslet 2-6-2T Russell comes off the sharp curve on the approach to Rhyd Ddu on the Welsh Highland Railway on Tuesday, November 1, during a David Williams charter. The 1906-built loco is hauling a train of vintage carriages, which, like Russell, are based at the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, Porthmadog.
