Pathfinder swaps a Deltic for a Class 40

UNAVILABILITY of Deltic No. D9009 Alycidon for Pathfinder’s ‘North Eastern Christmas Markets’ special on December 3 will see Class 40 No. D345 work the train from Burton upon Trent to Newcastle, with a pair of West Coast Class 37s hauling the train from Swindon to Burton and back.
