New wi-fi system launched for passengers at Gatwick Airport

INSTALLATION of a new free wi-fi service for passengers at Gatwick Airport station has been completed by Network Rail. The system provides users with seamless connectivity as they move between the airport and station concourse. Other improvements include the recent introduction of 12 new customer information screens (CIS), which provide higher-quality displays and show passengers the next fastest train, platform number, stopping pattern and train operator. Three new ticket gates with wider barriers have also been installed at the station entrance with the aim of improving passenger flow.
