Everton’s nod to dock and railway heritage
OLD railway tracks used to transport coal, capstans and other railway-related dock equipment are among the 400 heritage assets which have been recorded and tagged and will be used within the public realm works at BramleyMoore Dock, Liverpool, where Premiership team Everton is having a new 52,000-seater stadium built. A Grade II-listed Hydraulic Tower and Engine Room, built in 1883, will be restored to its former glory, brick by brick.
