Extension opening revised again

THE West Midlands Metro link to Wolverhampton railway station is now expected to open in spring 2023. Originally anticipated for completion in 2020, time frames were subsequently revised, the most recent target for opening having been this autumn. Midland Metro Alliance says there have been delays in obtaining equipment to control traffic lights at the junction of Pipers Row and Bilston Street.
