‘Pretendolino’ coaches are on the market

SIX coaches from the former ‘Pretendolino’ set used by Virgin Trains are among eight Mk.3 vehicles which Rail Engineering Solutions has been asked to sell on behalf of the owner. The vehicles received the nickname after being introduced (with a driving van trailer and Class 90 locomotive) to cover when needed on Pendolino diagrams and received refurbishment at Wabtec in Doncaster. Nos. 11018, 11048, 12078, 12122, 12133 and 12138 have been advertised for sale, along with blue and grey-liveried Nos. 11074 and 12092.
