IN its by now familiar format, the LMSPatriot Project’s fundraising calendar showcases paintings by a number of well known railway artists. It includes examples of ‘Princess Royal’, ‘Black Five’, ‘Compound’, ‘Jubilee’, ‘Crab’, ‘4F’ and, of course, ‘Patriot’. Measuring 24x24cm (48x24cm when opened) and with its large, square format, both paintings and dates get ample space – and there is a notes panel across the foot of each month.
