Tiresome TV ads are a turn-off
Are we really being threatened with even more TV commercials? Last week it was revealed Ofcom would be consulting on relaxing guidelines limiting the amount of adverts on public service broadcasters.
I already have to switch the TV off when they come on while watching programmes – they are inane and virtually never-ending.

The American way of giving the public little of what they want and a lot of what they do not want will not wash here – more adverts will see people leave in droves. While I appreciate that the adverts pay for the programmes, there is a limit. Like most other governing bodies, perhaps those in charge of Ofcom need replacing.
