Minzaal is packing punch for Burrows

MINZAAL romped to victory in the Betfair Haydock Sprint Cup to give trainer Owen Burrows his second

Group One prize in his best season yet. The Jim Crowley-ridden 7-2 shot pulled well clear of 2021 winner Emaraaty Ana. Burrows will now target the British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot on October 15 with Minzaal. He said: ‘He is so laid back. He is like a boxer, literally the bell goes and he wakes up. It’s lovely to make him a Group One winner.’
