Peter Greenaway: Painting With Film Radio 4, 11.30am

The director (right) celebrates his 80th birthday and the 40th anniversary of his first featurelength movie, The Draughtsman’s Contract, this year. To mark those milestones, this programme looks back at Greenaway’s career.

Drama: Shearwaters (Radio 4, 2.15pm) is a psychological thriller set on a remote wildlife reserve. Sadly, the peaceful life of warden Wilf and his partner Ruth is about to be shattered by a ghost from her past.
