Protect young drivers

I’m all for Government plans to raise the driving age to 18 and wish they would hurry up and bring this new law into effect.

I also think that for the first year after passing their tests, new drivers should not be allowed out between 10pm and 10am, or carry more than one passenger. I have two sons who have written off cars within two months of passing their tests, but thankfully lived to tell the tale.
