No garden of Eden

-

IT’S called Eden Rock, but it seems the investment firm founded by Pippa Middleton’s husband James Matthews is hardly in paradise. I can reveal that last year it saw its annual profits tumble by about 70 per cent. The former racing driverturned-City mogul, 47, pictured left with Pippa, 39, invests in various businesses, including one dealing in botanical spirits, founded by his little brother Spencer.

◆ IS ROBBIE Williams going to be making bikinis soon? I only ask because the 48-year-old singer, right, has applied for a trademark of his initials R.W. for not only bags and bath toys but also bikinis and swimming costumes. This isn’t the first time Robbie has ventured into the world of fashion: in 2011 he announced he was working with Dragons’

Den star Peter Jones to launch a menswear line called Farrell.

Sadly, Farrell closed its shop after six weeks and filed for bankruptcy in 2013. Fingers crossed Robbie has more luck this time around.

◆ ARISTOCRAT Drummond MoneyCoutts, who once made a living as a death-defying magician, tells me he’s done with danger, saying that if he did another risky stunt ‘my mother will disown me’. While filming his Netflix show Death By Magic, the scion of the banking family needed medics’ attention three times. Although he was able to chain himself to moving vehicles and burning objects, the trauma from his injuries left him with a phobia of flying, which he overcame via the extreme therapy of jumping out of planes. Now he wants to teach others to do the same. Any volunteers?
